CHARITY BY DESIGN, the philanthropic division of ALEX AND ANI, was founded in 2011 with the pure intention of making a difference. Now, five years, 44+ partnerships through design, and $30 million dollars in donations later, it’s astounding to look back on what we’ve accomplished together.

Your unwavering passion for supporting non-profits that speak to your soul is truly inspiring. It perfectly illuminates the DNA of CHARITY BY DESIGN from which everything stems. We invite you to take a closer look at these powerful elements and discover ways you can help make a difference, too!
_____
• Empowerment – Every ALEX AND ANI product aims to empower our fans in a meaningful way. However, CHARITY BY DESIGN pieces take a multi-dimensional approach. First, pieces purchased from this collection support non-profits, helping to elevate their missions. Second, the symbol on each piece speaks to the non-profit’s mission, reminding the wearer of the difference they made each time it catches their eye. Lastly, it inspires future involvement with and support of the organization, further amplifying a message of positive change.

• Sustainability – Corporate consciousness is a vital component of everything we do at ALEX AND ANI. The well-being of the environment, local and national economies, and more are all considered with every decision made. Our products are made in America with sustainable materials through eco-conscious processes. Each piece is crafted with love and symbolizes the dedication of our fans to make the world a better place, creating #PeaceTogether worldwide.

Our mission trip to Nicaragua with our partner, Living Water International, brought clean water and endless smiles to a community.
• Wellness – The CHARITY BY DESIGN collection fosters wellness of the mind, body, soul, and much more. When creating each piece, its energies and the feelings it inspires are considered. This special collection aims to raise awareness for non-profit organizations while reminding us to be mindful of ourselves. For instance, the Spiral Sun Charm Bangle benefits BCRF while prompting women to make time for yearly check ups. When we are well in all aspects of life, we radiate it outward, encouraging others to do the same.

Our team raised funds and participated in The Resolution, an indoor cycling event benefiting our partner, The Pan-Mass Challenge.
• Creativity – When crafting pieces for our CHARITY BY DESIGN collection, creativity plays a large role. Our goal is to make something that not only speaks to the mission of the organization, but also resonates with the wearer. We hope that it inspires them to continue to support the non-profit in imaginative, creative ways. For example, the Bike Charm Bangle supports The Pan-Mass Challenge – why not organize a group of family and friends to fundraise and compete in the legendary bike-a-thon? When we come together to initiative positive change, the sky is the limit.

• Action – At the very core of CHARITY BY DESIGN is the desire to inspire action. With each piece created, we aim to capture the unique energy of the non-profit in a symbolic, meaningful way. When you add a piece to your collection, we hope that it stimulates a will to further spread the mission of the organization. Whether through volunteerism, donations, or simply sharing their message with others, you are helping to turn peace up in a big way.
