We recently had a woman visit us who was looking to purchase her first ALEX AND ANI bangles. She was immediately drawn to the CHARITY BY DESIGN Collection and eager to learn which organization each charm was associated with. She talked about how she used to work for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and quickly fell in love with the Prints of Love Bangle which happens to benefit them. She was accompanied by her loyal companion – a nine year old retired racing greyhound.
While everyone in the store took a turn petting him, she talked about how she now works for the Special Olympics, organizing local events and training competitions. I then guided her back to the CHARITY BY DESIGN case, pointing out the Power of Unity Bangle, which she adored. Delighted with her two new bangles, she was even more excited that 20% of the proceeds for each one would benefit organizations she deeply cared for.
