CHARITY BY DESIGN®, the philanthropic division of ALEX AND ANI, has reached over $2 million in donations to the American Heart Association (AHA) since our partnership began in 2012. The American Heart Association is the largest single recipient of the CHARITY BY DESIGN division.
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the world and the leading cause of death in the United States, taking the lives of almost 380,000 Americans each year. As a partner of CHARITY BY DESIGN, the AHA receives 20% of the purchase price* of the specially-designed Best Friends Bangle Set of 2 (launched in 2012) and the Whole Heart Charm Bangle (launched in February 2014) sold in ALEX AND ANI retail locations nationwide as well as online.
Additionally, CHARITY BY DESIGN has donated more than $37,000 to the AHA as a result of various in-store CHARMED BY CHARITY® events as well as an additional $150,000 to the American Heart Association – Southern New England Annual Heart Ball gala. Since its inception, CHARITY BY DESIGN has been able to give back over $18 million to partner charities and other various non-profit organizations through donation.
